We are looking for an Application Support Specialist to join our Global Service Desk department located in Tallinn.

Job description
•    2nd level support of one or more corporate IT services/applications.
•    Handling incidents and service requests in complex and distributed application environments. 
•    Solving reported and pro-actively found issues using support functions available within the supported IT services/applications.
•    Identify and categorize issues to provide a root cause analysis.
•    Develop workarounds for business users until upcoming releases or emergency patches.
•    Active ticket ownership, ensuring timely response, follow-up and communication with any involved party in order to find a quick solution. Often involves coordinating actions of people from other support teams, IT departments, Business and external service providers to achieve the desired result.
•    Ensuring compliance to Service Level Requirements.
•    Demonstrating the highest levels of customer service, productivity, and professionalism.
•    Participate and facilitate knowledge sharing between support, development and IT service delivery teams.
•    Keeping knowledge base up-to-date.
•    Actively contributing to permanent improvement process.
•    Adapt successfully to a constantly and rapidly changing environment.
•    Maintain Global Service Desk policies and standards.
•    Working in shifts to provide 24/7 support.

Qualifications and Skills
•    Professional education or degree in IT, or equivalent. 
•    Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
•    Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff within the organization and customer.
•    Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving competencies.
•    Good understanding of customer services and relationships.
•    Attention to detail and focus to customer issues to solve them correctly and quickly.
•    Self-contained and target-oriented team player.
•    Experience with Windows/Unix.
•    Experience with relational databases and SQL.
•    Ability to work in 24/7 shifts.
Beneficial skills: 
•    Prior experience in IT support, or equivalent 
•    ITIL Certification and experience working with ITIL compliant practices.
